Community services from Temora Shire Council Saleyards
Temora Shire Council Saleyards offers a diverse range of community service facilities to the residents of Shire. Temora Shire Council Saleyards also provides assistance to customers on numerous community projects as well as to dedicated community organisations, either directly or indirectly.
Temora Shire Council Saleyards provides support to community facilities such as cemeteries, libraries, emergency services, aged and disabled services, sport and leisure and day to day requirements of the community. Temora Shire Council Saleyards provides animal shelters that are specially designed to house cats and dogs that are lost or found. The staff of Temora Shire Council Saleyards ensure that the cats and dogs are reunited with their owners.
The animal shelter, established by Temora Shire Council Saleyards, works in accordance with the New South Wales Companion Animal Act of 1998. As per the NSW Companion Animals Act of 1998, all dogs and cats that are born or who change owners after 1 July 1999, are required to be microchipped and registered. Temora Shire Council Saleyards has street stall vans that can be used by voluntary or charitable organisations to raise funds.
