Beef stud cattle from The Glory Murray Greys

The Glory Murray Greys  is a beef cattle stud that has been operating since 2001. The Glory Murray Greys consists of four semen straws. The Glory Murray Greys is planning to expand its stud operations by purchasing about 200 stud cattle and 100 to 200 commercial cattle.

The Glory Murray Greys also has plans to undertake cross breeding in the near future with cattle breeds such as Shorthorns, Limousins and Angus. The Glory Murray Greys, in addition, has plans to start cropping oats. The Glory Murray Greys holds numerous years of experience that enable it to offer information to customers on how to buy cattle.

During cattle production, The Glory Murray Greys’ steers gain approximately 380 kilograms in weight. The Glory Murray Greys sells steers to the domestic market. The crossbreeds of The Glory Murray Greys are sold when they weigh about 400 kilograms. The Glory Murray Greys does not crossbreed its heifers.

The Glory Murray Greys, at the time of selling its heifers, provides only about half of its commercial cattle for sale and keeps the remaining half for breeding. Stud heifers generally join The Glory Murray Greys when they are about 18 months old. The Glory Murray Greys attempts to produce four calves from the stud heifers, which are later available for sale. The Glory Murray Greys sells the stud heifers when they are about seven to eight years old.
