Ballarat Secondary College have solved there water problems by installing three 240,000 litre water tanks. 720,000 litres comes in handy when having to look after sporting ovals and the general grounds around the college.

An average family uses 240,000 l of water a year. Rain water harvesting is one way to reduce the drain on the planets limited resources. Rain water tanks store water for such things as flushing toilets, watering gardens, and irrigation.

Steel sectional water tanks store large volumes of water at an economical price. They are ideal for domestic house and land packages, small acreage sub-divisions, farming, horticultural nurseries, commercial / industrial applications, irrigation / water treatment, and the National Solar Schools program. 

The Tank Shop supplied tanks that survived the Black Saturday inferno at King Lake. The industrial thick wall steel provides long-term strength and security. All fittings are brass with steel ball valve outlets, and the construction is fully enclosed by a corrugated iron dome roof.

There are nine sizes available, ranging from 52,000 litres to 272,000 litres. They are available Zincalume or Colorbond colours.
