The Tractor and Machinery Association of Australia is a not-for-profit body with a vast membership base.

The association acts on behalf of its members, who are involved in various aspects of the agricultural and machinery industry in Australia.

These include the importers, manufacturers and sellers of agricultural machinery in its multifarious forms, from tractors and slashers through to wheel loaders and harvesters.

Members range from large, multi-national companies such as Michelin and Goodyear & Dunlop Tyres through to industry specific companies such as Agroplow, Gason, Norwood Agriculture and Kubota Tractor’s.

The association plays an important role when it comes to government regulation of, and legislation relating to, the agricultural machinery industry.

It effectively represents the interests of its members situated in every state throughout Australia, and will challenge those actions deemed detrimental to the industry and industry employees.

The association is involved in the organisation of industry training and development packages, and seeks out market sales statistics on behalf of its members.

Regular communication is established with members via industry newsletters and bulletins which contain up-to-date news and information that relates specifically to the agricultural machinery industry.

Association membership is broken into three main categories:

The machinery importers and manufacturers membership category is comprised of the major agricultural machinery importers and manufacturers in Australia.

Companies involved in servicing the agricultural machinery industry in Australia indirectly, such as wheel and tyre suppliers, are known as affiliated members.

Meanwhile, dealer members are those companies involved in selling agricultural machinery in locations throughout Australia.

The association features a Board of Directors that is comprised of individuals from member companies. This ensures the interests of the agricultural machinery industry in Australia are the first priority.

The Tractor and Machinery Association of Australia welcomes new members.
