Vine Nets Australia is an anti-bird net manufacturer based in Augusta, Western Australia. Nets from Vine Nets Australia are made from quality UV additives and polyethylene. Three types of nets, namely Premium Plus 45, Premium Hex 33 & 40 and Zone netting are manufactured by Vine Nets Australia.
The Premium Hex model nets are available in two weights – 33 g and 40 g per square meter. The 40 g net is available in hexagon weave length of 15 mm or 17mm where as the 33 g net is constructed with weaves measuring 17 mm. These nets share many features of the Premium Plus 45 nets. The nets constructed with a weave length of 15 mm are suitable for high bird pressure areas while the other type of net can prevent even small birds such as silver eyes from attacking the crop. These nets are available in black or white colour.
Vine Nets Australia produces another kind of net called Zone Netting. This net is used to cover only the fruit zone of the grape vine. Built with a 12 mm construction, these nets weigh 26 gm per square metre. These nets are available in rolls of 1 m width and 500 m length.
