Vitulus Lowline Stud and its cattle

Vitulus Lowline Stud  runs purebred Lowline cattle which is renowned for the tenderness and marbling qualities of its meat. Vitulus Lowline Stud has chosen to breed Lowline cattle because of their popularity among the commercial as well as the stud industries. Located in Lockyer Valley near Brisbane, Vitulus Lowline Stud owns Queensland’s biggest registered female herd.

Vitulus Lowline Stud sources quality genetic material from all over Australia to breed cattle that meet the expectations of the beef industry and that of the stud owners. Quiet cows with good milking quality and fertility alone are introduced into the cowherd of Vitulus Lowline Stud. The bulls need to be masculine, fertile, structurally sound, and mobile with good temperament and marbling quality.

Vitulus Lowline Stud is also involved in breeding Redline cattle which are bred from registered purebred Lowline. Vitulus Lowline Stud exports Vitulus genetics, live Lowline cattle, Lowline semen, and embryos to the US, Europe, South America, Thailand, New Zealand, and Canada. Cattle from Vitulus Lowline Stud have won many shows including the Grand Champion Bull Royal Brisbane show for eight consecutive years.

Vitulus Lowline Stud offers stud as well as commercial cattle for sale. Apart from outright sales, bulls are also leased for a period of three months. A limited number of shares on the award winning bulls can also be purchased by customers. Licensed semen of the sires is also available. Vitulus Lowline Stud also provides quality after sales service. Customers can buy Lowline beef either from the stud or through retail outlets.
