Suffolk breed from Vortex White Suffolk Stud


Vortex White Suffolk Stud deal with livestock stud sires from the year 1989.  White Suffolk breeders were then imported and implemented into the stud to keep the breed move forward. At present, Vortex White Suffolk Stud aim at producing sheep that are lean with good muscles and growth. 

Vortex White Suffolk Stud follow Lambplan to produce sheep. Though Vortext White Suffolk Stud follow Lambplan for the breeding program, they still emphasise on good wool, narrow shoulders for easy lambing, long bodies with meat in the hindquarters and the loin.

Vortex White Suffolk Stud maintain the sheep flock in a healthy condition by providing proper vaccination.   Earlier, Vortex White Suffolk Stud implemented artificial insemination method to import high genetic rams. Vortex White Suffolk Stud used American Suffolk also to increase the size of the breed. 

Rams of Vortex White Suffolk Stud have taken part in many exhibits. Vortex Stud won the Champion and the Supreme Champion at the Adeliade feature show in the year 1966. The stud also won the Reserve champion at the Royal Melbourne Show, Champion ram at the Geelong feature show and Champion ram at the Australian sheep and wool show in Bendigo.
