In 1995, Wingamin purchased shares in the Anden 4.006 ram when the ram’s progeny outshined others in the Royal Adelaide Show in 1997 by winning Champion Ewe and Champion Ram awards. The numerous championships won by Wingamin show their capacity in breeding fine rams and sheep. Wingamin have won interbreed ribbons and various championships consistently over the years.

The various championship and interbreed ribbons, won by Wingamin, comprise of two Reserve Champions, five Champions, two Supreme Interbreed Group and three Most Successful Exhibitor awards at the Royal Adelaide Show. The other awards won by Wingamin include champions at the Australian Sheep and Wool show, Bendigo, Victoria, National Field Day shows and Supreme Interbreed awards at Hamilton Sheepvention and Bendigo.

The main focus of the Wingamin breeding programme is to meet high industry standards. Wingamin have been involved in breeding for quick early growth and high muscle content, producing strong and profitable sheep for commercial clients. Wingamin introduced Kurralea 211/98 Five Star Poll Dorset rams through artificial insemination. Wingamin strive to improve the muscle content of their sheep collection consistently.
