High tensile barbed wire is produced with a reverse twist pattern to provide maximum strength and a safe guard against breaking.
High tensile barbed wire has the unique LonglifeTM coating technology applied to provide premium protection against corrosion pressures. High tensile barbed wire has barb spacings of 90mm to provide greater pressure resistance placed on the fence. Iowa patterned barbed wire is produced from 2.50mm soft wire and is more visible. Iowa barb is available in two protective coatings: Standard Galvanised and LonglifeTM Iowa barbed wire has barb spacings of 100mm.

Installation
Always exercise extreme care when using Barbed Wire. Waratah Wizard wire strainers provide a quick and easy method to strain barbed wires to the recommended tension. Wizards have a unique hook on the end of it’s chain to securely anchor it to both steel and timber strainer posts. Use a Tenser Senser tension gauge to achieve the best and safest result.
